Welcome to Western Rockingham County!
The Western Rockingham Chamber of Commerce understands that in order to have a strong economic environment you must have a strong community. We are truly blessed in our community to have leaders, business owners, educators and citizens who realize that we all share in the responsibility of creating economic success and happiness within our community.
The Chamber’s goal is to work toward improving the quality of life for all through the support and commitment of its members, volunteers and committees. The Chamber is proud to sponsor events throughout the year to help support our community.
I am honored to work alongside our Executive Director and Board who all share the same vision of business growth and a healthy community environment. To our current Chamber members, thank you for your continued support. Letter from our Executive Director
On behalf of The Western Rockingham Chamber of Commerce, welcome. We are proud to promote our businesses and community to our members, residents, and visitors to our area. The Western Rockingham Chamber of Commerce has 220 members and we had the pleasure welcoming 26 new members during 2020.
We are an active chamber that looks to advance its members’ growth and prosperity and provide increased opportunities and value for its membership. The Chamber advocates for and unites the business community, conveys business interests to policy-makers and advances the our county’s economic health. To carry out this mission, the Chamber serves as the voice of business and involves the public sector in community leadership.
In addition to vibrant committee work in Advocacy, Community Engagement, Membership Services and Membership Development, The Western Rockingham Chamber provides unique opportunities for members. This includes our special events including the Annual Membership Dinner, Lunch and Learn Programs, and the quarterly Fun at Four Socials. Our more regular events include our monthly coffees and chamber window displays. Our popular events provide our members an opportunity to network and meet new people, no matter what their schedule allows.
The Western Rockingham Chamber of Commerce offers opportunities and access for your business to build a stronger community.
If you are not already a member of the Chamber, we invite you to join us. If you are already a member, please take full advantage of your membership investment and get involved. There are opportunities for all types of needs, interests, and schedules. Contact the Chamber staff and they will help you customize your membership to your needs. WRCC has 218 members and we had the pleasure of welcoming 18 new members during 2021. The WRCC promotes a Shop Your Local Chamber motto throughout our three communities, we have many businesses that partner and support each other throughout the year.
